The Factory has requested the items below be followed
#1 All Upper Side vent Door baffle Must to be removed on all slide out models.
#2 Any unit in slide outs, fan/Fans have to be added to the top upper side vent to force & remove hot air trapped from the fridge upper area.
#3 Only the model N2118's we have a disclaimer on the factory website that states the N2118 may recommended the Option # 2 or #3 below dual compressor unit in weather condition get close to 100 degree due Norcold build the N2118 with very thinner wall box insulation and it has bad flapper door issues.
All units will have a 3 year warranty with option to extend

All Cooling unit comes with Tube of Thermal Mastic cold Transfer Compound, spray foam sealer to make to the foam block when placed back airtight sealed, and foil back tape to give a nice finish look around the backer
NOTE:
There is a RED sticker on the box stating: "Do not sign for UNIT till you open and inspect checking for Major shipping Damage when you see Damage and/or Leaks". If major damage or ammonia leaks refuse the shipment. If you sign for unit with shipping damage found later, you own the unit. This is if you seen Freight damage to cooling unit not just box Damage.

Option #2 DC 12 volt Dual Compressor Conversion
NOR1200 N1201 Hvac 12V DC For the Norcold This Replacement unit will convert your gas/elect RV refrigerator into a residential fridge, which eliminates your LP gas/ 120V electric absorption system. This cooling unit is built with a dual compressor system and comes standard with our ‘Universal Fridge Controller‘, which is designed specifically for our Hvac units. This controller will eliminate your existing Norcold controls on the front and back of the fridge. The Hvac unit uses about 66% less power than what the absorption unit uses on the electric setting. Power usage: 11.6 amps at 12V (139 watts). In stock and ships within 24hrs Mon-Friday
Option #3 AC Electric Dual Compressor Conversion
NOR 1200 1201 Hvac 120V) For the: Norcold This Replacement unit will convert your gas/elect RV refrigerator into a residential fridge, which eliminates your LP gas/ 120V electric absorption system. This cooling unit is built with a dual compressor system and comes standard with our ‘Universal Fridge Controller‘, which is designed specifically for our Hvac units. This controller will eliminate your existing Norcold controls on the front and back of the fridge. The Hvac 120V unit uses about 25% less power than what the absorption unit uses on the electric setting. Power usage: 3 amps at 120V (360 watts). In stock and ships within 24hrs Mon-Friday.
The info below is for both option #2 and #3 be sure to check before you place the order.
You will need approx. 6 1/2″ of clearance from the back of fridge box to the inside of the vent door louvers at the bottom center of the fridge, where the compressor will set. The air louvers on the back of the vent door can be trimmed away if needed, for a little more clearance.
These dual compressor units comes with new ‘Universal Control’ system as seen in the added picture, installation manual, foam sealant, thermal mastic, foil tape, freezer/fin screws and LP gas plug, basically everything needed to do the install, no additional parts needed.
The 12 Volt wiring on your coach might have to be upgraded to the DC Dual Compressor Option.
