This listing is the DM2652RBX. The DM2652RBX was made for Dometic, only for a short time while they built a new manufacturing plant in Elkhart. This model with the RBX, LBX, RB1, LBFX could/may be a unit without an outer frame and was manufactured outside the USA, from Germany or Japan, Dometic used when they out sourced to have some made, they only made units without the outer frame. So we offer the Brand-new Amish built at a special price, since a no out frame can not be use to return as a core return when a remanufactured unit is purchased, no core return needed for new cooling unit purchase. All Brand-new replacement will have a frame on the back side. When you receive a cooling unit it will look wrong, if your unit was a no frame model from one of the Japan or Germany units, but will fit without any problem. The Dometic OEM cooling units with the RBX series are the only ones like this.
All Cooling unit comes with Tube of Thermal Mastic cold Transfer Compound, spray foam sealer to make to the foam block when placed back air tight sealed, and foil back tape to give a nice finish look around the backer

These cooling units are completely re designed to the Amish specs. Using some of the special Ammonia formulas and tubing design that they have used in the manufacture of the Home refrig and freezer line after many, many years of testing. Since they have the Home units to the high performance needed for the Home, they started to use the same specs for the RV cooling units.
They also use the special formulas in the re man units we sell, but go a large step forward when they changed the design of the original Dometic Brand-new cooling units to give that extra cooling performance needed to give the long lasting cold during the hottest weather that RV's run in to. The old original Dometic design is good, but more for the short term use in moderate temp weather. If you have to replace the cooling unit WHY not replace it with the cooling unit that will give the cold that you are looking for.
